Peter Marucci has worked in the aviation industry as a mechanic since 1985. After attending East Coast Aero Tech at Hanscom Field, MA. Pete has been continuously employed in the airline industry: Peoples Express, Continental, Emery Air Freight, Airborne Express and DHL.

In 2004, a few months after the passing of his beloved father, two pilot friends of Pete’s decided that he needed a new hobby. So after purchasing N194SE, they taught him how to fly. He obtained his commercial pilot’s license and started offering seaplane rides for hire.

With Pete and his family having owned Colonial Mast Campground in Naples, Maine since 1978, it was a natural fit to choose Mast Cove for a seaplane base.

Despite the demise of DHL and his subsequent loss of employment there, Pete’s love for aircraft maintenance could not be dimmed. He made his decision to obtain his Inspection Authorization, (IA), and open up a maintenance shop, with the support of his family: wife Debbie, twin daughters Samantha and Nicole along with the rest of the Marucci and Hamilton gang.

Pete is active in the local aviation community, attending fly-ins, continuing education seminars and participating in ACE Camp in Portland & Bangor Maine
